Cheryl, CEO and founder of a company dedicated to improving workplace culture and redesigning human resources practices as a whole, came to me because she was stressed out and lacked the focus and attention needed to grow her business.

Cheryl had big goals. She wanted to scale her business so her income was not dependent on her time, she wanted more time to travel and relax, and she wanted to experience more peace of mind, ease, and grace.

Fortunately, Cheryl was action-oriented, a hard worker, and very bright. Her struggle, however, was that she was unable to concentrate and that was getting in the way of her business growth.

We spent a number of sessions working on mindfulness and how she could shift her routines and habits to accommodate it. Some things Cheryl incorporated were self care, journaling, pre-planning for travel and building in buffers between client appointments.

It wasn’t always easy for Cheryl to practice this, but when she did she had more energy, was less absent-minded, was able to enjoy more of life, and was comfortable in her ability to handle greater levels of success. All of this translated into Cheryl being able to confidently scale and grow her business.

By the time we finished working together, Cheryl not only had more clients than she knew what to do with, she was working on writing (and finishing) a book, was planning a trip to Italy, and was still making time for her self-care and mindfulness practices. As she says herself,

Working with Kimberly helped me develop a deeper understanding of what is involved with increasing mindfulness. Her strategies for building improvement on a daily basis will be part of my life for a long time to come.
